Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs to The One Direction band. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1st, 1994 at Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. Even though he's always had an interest in music but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to become a lawyer and an physiotherapist. He worked in a local bakery part-time to help his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group formed in the year 2010. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In result, they made it to the finalists. The group was however placed third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell did not take home the prize. However Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pound contract to sign up with Syco.
