Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a songwriter. Most famously, she is known for her part as Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and starred in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson, born to a psychiatrist as well as an artist named Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Benson has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who is an artist. Benson was a member of a Reform Jewish synagogue when she was growing up. Her mother, who was Southern Baptist and raised Jewish through her father, is as well Jewish. Since Buffy ended Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows like Morganville The Series. In the background Benson utilized her talents as a writer to write The Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist across the globe and that 500 are part of the Scooby Gang. Slayer Potentials are now being uncovered once they reach the suitable maturation. For example, Soledad became a Slayer on her 16th birthday. Ruth Connell to play Rowena in season 10 of Supernatural. Apparantly she is a mysterious old-fashioned witch.
